I had an '88 S-10 blazer that I couldn't sell to save my life. Blue book value was like $3500, though, and by donating it you get to take that amount and make it a tax deduction. So look around to your local American Cancer Society chapter or through your local auto recycler. They will be able to give you the details. Note- this only helps if you itemize deductions on your taxes, though. -John P : I have an '85 300ZX that I wrecked. Much of the front was demolished. A friend of my dad's offered to fix the car and repaint it. Unfortunately the quality of the work was very poor and call me an idiot but I paid $1500 for it. I really liked the car and spent a lot of time restoring it, so I thought I could do the rest of the work myself. In between that time though I bought my '92 Z32, so sadly enough, I've lost interest in her. : Anyway, is there any hope of getting my $1500 back if I just give it to charity? : Jack H
